Keeping your Chart of Accounts clear and up to date helps ensure accurate reporting and easier navigation throughout your system. Follow these simple steps to update an account description:
1. Go to Setup → GL / Budget / Payables
2. Click on the Chart of Accounts submenu
3. In the Search field, enter the account name and click Run Report (or press Enter)
4. Locate the account and click Edit on the right
5. Update the Account Description field as needed
6. Click Save to apply your changes
