RakefetOnline allows you to integrate your Google calendar into your opening Dashboard.
In addition to your main congregation calendar, you can also bring into the RakefetOnline Dashboard calendars other calendars Google supports, such as HebCal's Jewish Holidays and Candle Lighting calendar for your location.
How to begin:
- Open Google Calendar on a computer
- Click Settings from the Settings Menu in the top right of your Google calendar view
- Select the calendar you want to embed from the left side of the screen (this can be found under Settings for my calendars)
- In the Integrate calendar section, copy the iframe code
- Click Customize under the embed code to link multiple calendars together by selecting which calenders to display
- Then at the top of the calendar, copy the Emended iframe code.
- Then go to RakefetOnline's My User Account / Synagogue Profile menu
- In the field labeled Google Calendar Embedded Code, paste the code and then click Save
- Finally return to the Dashboard and refresh your screen to see updates
In your Google calendar settings you can make various calendars public and private.
Public calendars will be seen by everyone, while private calendars will only be seen by those who are logged into their browser and have permission to view it.
Users, depending on the visibility of the calendar, can use calendar postings to view, add to their own calendar, as well us use location and other information supported by Google tools, such as Google Maps.

Users can choose to view their calendars for the Week, by the Month or by Agenda.
