What is a Family View?
A Family View in RakefetOnline allows you to filter and display groups of families or individuals based on specific criteria within your database.
The system includes several built-in views to help you quickly find and manage your data:
- All Families – Displays every family in your database
- Families with Accounts – Shows families with an active financial account
- Families with Membership – Displays families with active membership and account status
- Adults – Lists all adult individuals
- Children – Lists all child individuals
- Adults + Children – Displays all individuals together
- Children in School – Shows children assigned to classes or school programs
How Family Views Work
You can switch between views by selecting different Filters. Each filter will:
- Display a count of families or individuals in that view
- Adjust available filter options based on relevance
How Family Codes Affect Views
Family Views are driven by Family Code assignments, which determine where families appear:
- All Families
Includes every family in the database, regardless of status - Families with Accounts
Includes families assigned a Family Code with an account status, allowing financial transactions - Families with Membership
Includes families with both a membership status and account status, indicating active involvement in your congregation
Why Family Views Matter
Family Views help your staff:
- Quickly locate specific groups of families or individuals
- Manage memberships and accounts more efficiently
- Streamline reporting and daily operations
